Public TV Premiere of Repairing the World THIS WEEK
As we prepare to commemorate five years since the deadliest antisemitic attack in U.S. history, Repairing the World: Stories from the Tree of Life is premiering on PBS stations across the country.
Repairing the World documents Pittsburgh’s powerful community response in the aftermath of hate. Through the voices of survivors, family members, diverse residents and leaders, the film shows the power of unity in a moment of crisis, the resilience of a vibrant city, and a community working together to understand what it means to be stronger than hate.

Seeking Justice: Guilty Verdict in Tree of Life Shooting
After only one day of deliberation, a jury in a federal court in Pittsburgh, PA found the man charged with killing eleven people in the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in U.S. history, guilty on all 63 charges including hate crimes. Six other people were wounded in the attack on three congregations at Tree of Life synagogue on October 27, 2018.
